FINALLY!!!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to do something a little different and give back to a family who really deserve it ❤️

Our company donated the supply and installation of a Micron Water Filters system for my wife’s disability client and his family, who unfortunately suffer from skin conditions that can cause a lot of discomfort and affect their everyday lives.

We know something as simple as having cleaner, filtered water may seem small to some, but if it can bring them even a little bit of comfort and relief, then it’s absolutely worth it.

We’re truly hoping they start to notice a positive difference soon and that the new water filter helps make life just that little bit more comfortable for them☺️

We’re very grateful to be in a position where we can use our business to help others. Sometimes the best part of running a business isn’t the work itself — it’s being able to make a difference in someone’s life❤️

SO! Back in June we started renovations on our own bathroom.

We had a tiler come in and do the tiling in our bathroom & we ended up asking him not to return and finish the job because the tiling was so terrible we didn't want him to continue.

We have had 2 other tilers in to give us quotes and to see if they can somewhat save any of the tiling work and both companies have said NOPE! It's a pull off everything and start from scratch job, unfortunately for us.

This weekend Aaron has to pull all of the tiles off and we have to start from scratch because of how bad the cuts are, there are so many chips in the tiles AND some tiles are even upside down! In all the renovations we have seen we have never seen anything this bad.

When we asked the company to see certificates to prove both tilers working on our bathroom were qualified- they wouldn't provide us with certificates.

Unfortunately Aaron paid in full before the job was finished and the company are refusing us a refund of what was overpaid.

If anyone is thinking of renovating, it is so important to make sure all the trades who come into your home are qualified and experienced and definitely read reviews!! Your home is such a safe, important space and its already scary enough letting trades in to do work but when you are met with such poor workmanship, unprofessionalism and now refusal of funds that were overpaid it has really disheartened us and taken the excitement out of renovating.

Let's hope the new tiling company can make up for the horrible experience we have had!

Whole house blockage cleared today❗️

The client had been dealing with recurring drainage issues for the past 10 years, repeatedly paying to have the blockage plunged. Unfortunately, no one had carried out a CCTV inspection to identify the underlying cause😩

After completing a CCTV drain inspection, Aaron discovered that approximately 6 metres of the main sewer line was running flat, preventing the line from draining correctly and causing the ongoing blockages🪠

It just goes to show that fixing the symptom isn't the same as finding the cause. A proper CCTV inspection can save a lot of time, money, and frustration in the long run🙂

A lot of people are always shocked when we tell them we don't charge call out fees.

A lot of people ask us why and the simple answer is because we don't want to⚠️

We are living in a world now where the most basic necessities are becoming so expensive that so many people are going without.

Rent & mortgages are through the roof so when you call us with a plumbing issue especially an emergency, we don't see the point in adding more financial stress to a already financially stressful situation.

We like to look after our customers and community the best we can and if removing call out fees makes you less stressed that makes us happy😊

Plus STRESSED backwards is DESSERTS so if we leave you with savings to go buy more desserts then we know you will definitely be happy🍰🧁🤗

He is the newest addition to the Amberton Plumbing and Gas family.

Absolutely shocking at following instructions and at the moment it seems those cute, fluffy ears are painted on😂

Hello everyone, we hope you are enjoying your Saturday.

Aaron is home now and the doctor & myself (the mean wife) has ordered him to rest which means he is taking the weekend off to rest- even though he is trying to tell me he "feels fine" and wants to "start the bathroom renovations"🙄

We won't be available over the weekend unfortunately. But will be back to normal as of Monday🙂

Happy Friday everyone🤗

Just a quick update on Aaron- he has been admitted to hospital again tonight so he will be out of action until further notice. We will be in contact with everyone who has jobs booked in to reschedule as soon as Aaron is better.
