This went out last week
A commissioned dining setting of red gum and steel. We had a few basic details of what they wanted and they supplied a jas smith cast flywheel that was cast in resin in the center. So after a few prototypes out of ply we had the steel laser cut and we got to work and they were overjoyed with the results.
They told us they’ve had 7 different tables and none of them felt right but as soon as they saw this they said this will be their last.
Big thanks to Jono for his expertise on the steel side of things.

Running the mill at the moment. I love seeing what’s inside. Red iron bark and some red gum logs for a guy from lake Cargellico. If you’ve got a log or 2 let us know. While we’re in the swing of things. We can spend up to 1900mm wide and dimensional 200x200mm and up to 8m long

Got a load of logs to mill some slabs for a customer.
And gave the mill shed and the back compound a spruce up with some fresh road base.
The biggest log is 3.5 tons. Tested out the old hyster

Just had drop in on the way to a milling job with his new super slabber. Maiden voyage. This can slab up to 2700mm wide

Collingwood stair complete. Very happy how this turned out. A satisfied customer. 2 huge days. Left the workshop at 5.00 am on a Wednesday and got home at 10.00 pm Thursday

Russ came to us with a concept for a couple of tables with steel legs. This was one 4m slab made into two 2m tables. One for inside and one for the alfresco. Jono did a great job on the legs. Loved seeing the grain in this beautiful red gum come to life. Even uncovered a bullet from years ago. Finished with Fiddes hard wax oil. We got the 10mm steel laser cut and rolled by Leed steel
