Last week Kurt and Josh flew over the ditch to the Aqua Technics Perth conference in Tasmania. Kurt is a seasoned campaigner at this conference, so we asked Josh to share his experience through the lens of a first-timer. Over to you Josh (warning, he has written a novel, but a very good one!).....
Josh - I found the conference very interesting and valuable. As it was my first time attending a conference, I wasnโt sure what to expect, but I came away with a lot of useful information and ideas.
One of the highlights was learning from the guest speaker about building confidence and becoming more comfortable when communicating with clients. Their insights provided practical strategies that I can apply in my day-to-day interactions.
It was also beneficial to hear how other pool distributors and builders manage challenges, problem-solving, and logistics within their businesses. Understanding different approaches gave me new perspectives on handling similar situations in my own work.
I appreciated the update on the future direction of Aqua Technics and where the company is heading. It was encouraging to see the plans and opportunities for growth within the industry.
The sessions with equipment suppliers were informative, providing a better understanding of the products currently available and upcoming innovations that may benefit future projects.
Another valuable aspect of the conference was the opportunity to discuss some of the challenges I face in pool construction and learn how others in the industry address similar issues. Sharing experiences and solutions with peers was both insightful and beneficial.
Overall, the conference was a worthwhile experience that provided practical knowledge, industry updates, and valuable networking opportunities.
Great summary Josh ๐๐ป๐๐ป.
