❄️ Frosty start to the day!

This morning brought our coldest frost of the year so far, and while it might have us reaching for another coffee, our perennials absolutely love it.

Foxgloves, delphiniums, aquilegias, erysimum, dianthus and many other cool-season favourites benefit from these crisp winter mornings. That natural cold helps produce stronger plants, better branching and spectacular flowering when spring arrives.

At The Green Gallery, our winter perennials are grown outdoors and exposed to the seasons as nature intended. They’re hardened by the elements, not sheltered from them, so they leave our nursery tough, resilient and ready to thrive in the landscape.

Winter might look harsh, but for quality perennials, it’s exactly what they need. 🌱❄️

Big milestone for us at The Green Gallery! 🌿

After plenty of planning (and plenty of delays along the way), the concrete pad for our new potting shed is finally finished. It’s another exciting step towards improving our nursery and creating a more efficient space for the team.

Of course, before the shed goes up, the kids made sure to give it the official test… turning it into the perfect bike track! 🚴‍♂️😄

Now it’s time for the real work to begin. We can’t wait to see the new potting shed take shape. Stay tuned!

Another cyclamen season comes to an end. 🌸

This week we’re sending out the last of this year’s crop, and what a season it’s been. We’re incredibly proud of the quality of the plants we’ve grown, with vibrant colours, strong growth and masses of flowers.

A big thank you to all of our customers for your support throughout the season. It’s also been exciting to see what our new high-tech greenhouses can do—they’ve helped us produce some of the best cyclamen we’ve ever grown.

Now it’s time to make way for the next crop. Stay tuned!
