Our client had an original ensuite bathroom and seperate walk-in robe they wanted to join and open up to the master bedroom as one large ensuite.

The importance of utilising the beautiful sun in winter with a north facing room 🌞

During winter when the sun is at its lowest point, this room is filled with sun reaching nearly 3 metres of flooring into the room.

The thermal mass floor holds onto this warmth and radiates the heat back into the room during the evening 🌔

In summer, the suns higher angle means that no sunlight makes contact with the floor whatsoever keeping the room cool.

It ain’t rocket science. Working with the environment instead of against it, just makes sense 🌳 🪴
