We installed almost 5km of underground cable for 8 new chicken sheds in Somerton over the weekend. The team installed 4.8km of 240mm2 4 core cable, with the longest circuit reaching 450m. We also used our brand new sand spreader, designed in-house, which the crew said was an absolute game changer!

We had Skillset and the Hon. Steve Whan MP, NSW Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education, come out to meet and interview 4 of our amazing apprentices today.
It was so good watching them talk about their trade, get hands-on with the gear and show off everything they’ve learned.
Big thanks to the Minister and the Skillset team for coming out and backing regional apprenticeships and the young people building their careers with us!

Lending a Hand Where It Counts ⚡

Teamwork across the industry keeps projects moving.

Macca recently assisted our friends at Energy Infrastructure Services with the installation of 33kV single-core cables, offering crane and labour hire to carefully lift the cables into position ready for termination. 👷‍♂️🏗️

It's always great to work alongside other experienced crews to help deliver critical electrical infrastructure safely and efficiently.

Reliable Infrastructure Starts Here ✅

Our team has been on site at home in Dubbo recently completing a kiosk LV board upgrade and installing new mains to a private pillar. From careful excavation around existing services with the help of our friends from Inland Hydroexcavation to upgrading critical infrastructure, every stage has been delivered with safety, precision and quality workmanship—helping improve network reliability and support the region's growing power needs. ⚡👏

Today we got to help out our good mate and one of Dubbo best fridgies Brod with the set up of a trailer mounted rental generator from our sister company JDC Thomson Electrical Systems. This was used to keep the local mobile phone network up and running during a power outage.

A few weeks ago we shared the team preparing and completing the mains upgrade for this property.

Now it's time for the next chapter.

With the new supply in place, Matt has stepped in to begin the full rewire of this beautiful home, carefully chasing walls, running new cabling and preparing the property for a modern electrical system while preserving its character.

These are the parts that often go unseen. Before the lights switch on and the power points are fitted, there's plenty of planning, precision and hard work happening behind the scenes to make it all possible. 👷‍♂️🔨
