These two beams look similar. They're not.

One is Colby. One is a generic beam. And the difference comes down to the tangs - the way the beam locks into the upright.

Colby locks in with no movement.

The generic one uses a key lock.

Neither is necessarily wrong - but knowing the difference matters when you're speccing out a warehouse and making decisions about what goes where.
