On this job, hard ground made digging slow going, while the old fence and posts were heavy and full of nails awkward to handle and cart away.

Having the equipment to tackle both means less time digging by hand and less manual handling, helping keep labour costs down and the job moving safely.

A concrete path doesn’t have to be boring.

For this one, we used flowing curves and a deep brown finish to create a pathway that feels like part of the landscaping rather than just a strip of concrete.

The curved edges soften the space, while the earthy colour works naturally with the surrounding gardens and gives the whole area a warmer finish.

Making a steep backyard usable again.

This client had a great backyard — and a pretty impressive view — but the steep slope made actually getting up there difficult.

We created a new stepped pathway using treated pine framing with a compacted gravel base, following the natural slope of the property and working around the existing garden.

The result is a much safer and more practical way to access the backyard, allowing the client to make better use of their property and enjoy that view.

Not every property improvement needs to be a major renovation. Sometimes a practical solution in the right place can completely change how you use your home.

This project was about giving our client back easy access to their outdoor area after recently transitioning to a wheelchair.

The existing area was grass and garden with steps, making access difficult. We excavated and reshaped the ground, removed the steps and created a new concrete area with a gradual, wheelchair friendly slope from the house into the outdoor space.

We also formed the curved garden sections into the concrete, leaving space for new planting and a feature tree so the area can still feel like a garden rather than simply an access path.

It’s a good example of how a few practical changes can make a big difference to someone’s independence at home.
