Today we celebrate all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures who keep our families, communities and workplaces running smoothly.

From passing on skills and knowledge on the job, to teaching the next generation the value of hard work, responsibility and looking after others — fathers in the plumbing industry play an important role both at work and at home.

To all the plumbing dads across Tasmania — thank you for everything you do. We hope you have a fantastic Father’s Day filled with family, good food, a well-earned rest and maybe even a day without a blocked drain! 😄🔧

This is special 💙 thank you TasWater for helping our community ❤️

Over the past 18 months, Engender Equality has helped strengthen our workplace response to family and domestic violence through leadership training, specialist advice and support.

As part of our ongoing partnership, we recently donated 10 refurbished laptops and 10 iPhones through the TasWater Community Giving Program, with more devices to be provided as they become available across our business.

These devices help victim-survivors of family and domestic violence access essential services, stay connected, seek employment and rebuild their independence.

Together, we're helping create safer communities across Tasmania and providing practical tools that can make a meaningful difference to people rebuilding their lives.

This isn’t another training session telling tradies what they should be doing — it’s a chance for tradies to have their say.

Lifeline Tasmania is inviting workers from across the industry to share the pressures they’re facing, what gets in the way of asking for help, and what could genuinely make a difference when it comes to su***de prevention.

What’s heard will help shape future su***de prevention initiatives across Tasmania.
