✨ Appreciation post ✨

Last week marked 10 years since Brad and Heather have taken over ownership - a very special and proud moment for our company.

You may have seen our vehicles out and about - our guys have travelled close to half a million kms in 2025 - contributing to this being our biggest and busiest year yet!

Some highlights we would like to mention - we welcomed Aimee and Ollie to our team as first year apprentices 💡

Sabyn and Darcy have completed their apprenticeships and are now fully qualified tradesmen 💡

And after 50 years in the electrical industry and starting Andrew Dare Electrical in Tasmania in 1991, Andy is entering his retirement era! But don’t worry - you will still see him around lending a hand to our young ones and telling a story or two around the place 🫶

On behalf of Brad, Heather and the entire team we wish our customers and friends a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe new year 🎄❤️

To mark another solid year at Andrew Dare Electrical Services, and to say thank you to the team for their effort and dedication we headed to the races—where we did our best to look sophisticated while loudly supporting horses based solely on their names. ⚡🐎Thanks to the Tasmanian Turf Club for hosting us and witnessing firsthand why we stick to electrical work.

Brad, Andy and Travis made their way down to Hobart over the weekend to attend the NECA Tasmania Industry awards night, where Dare Electrical was a state finalist for a project completed last year. Unfortuantely, the boys did not come home with a trophy this time, but it was fantastic to be recognised amongst the industry all the same.

Congratulations Izzy 👏👏👏

Just a 15 year old from Deloraine heading to Aus camp 💚

We are so excited for our amazing Isabella Sherriff on her selection in the under 17s Australian squad! Issy along side 3 other Tasmanian representatives are heading to the Australian Institute of Sport for Aus camp!

This was her first time representing Tasmania in the Australian National Netball Championships, and had a terrific performance, earning her a spot in the highest under age netball pathway. We are proud of you Issy!

Big shout out to Hawks players Ellie and Olivia on their efforts in the NNC and congratulations to other Tasmanian Athletes Paige, Charlotte and Sophie on their selection 💚

We love supporting our local sporting clubs and helping unlock the huge amount of talent that comes out of our area.
This year, we are so proud to be a player sponsor to Isabella Sherriff as she begins her state league playing career with the U19s at HIIT Launceston Hawks Netball Club, alongside her twin sister Sophie. Izy is currently taking her netball to another level again as she is currently in Victoria representing Tasmania in the u17 team at the National Netball Championships. Keep up the great work Izy!
