⚡When was the last time your switchboard's earth was checked?

Out at a rural property in Fly Creek, our team found the main earth cable had burnt out. We removed and replaced it, fitted a new earth tag, and applied a galvanised coating to hold up against the elements out there. Every connection was tested before we left the paperwork secured safely in the meter box for the customer. Rural and remote jobs are part of what we do every week.

⚡When your stove won't turn on, the fault isn't always where you'd expect.

We got called out to Nauiyu this week for a stove that had completely stopped working. Turned out the isolation switch feeding it had ants nested inside, cutting power before it ever reached the stove.

Our team tested the circuit, replaced the switch, and had it back up and running the same day, all in one visit, no return trip needed. For a remote job, getting it right the first time is the whole game.

⚡ 5.5 years of tenants leaves a mark, faded fan dials, worn switches, powerpoints on their last legs.

Before the next lease started at this Parap rental property, we replaced 2 double powerpoints, the oven isolator switch, 2 fan speed controllers, a doorway switch, and a fan mounting hook, all in a single 2-hour visit.

Property turnovers are the easiest place for electrical wear to slip through unnoticed.

⚡ This industrial diaphragm pump had a dead motor, and a Berrimah business that couldn't afford the downtime.

Our team pulled the failed motor, wired in a replacement, and had the pump back in service before we left site. Same-visit fix, no follow-up needed.

⚡ A Berrimah workshop had a light tripping on and off with no pattern, the kind of fault that's easy to misdiagnose.

We opened the switchboard and found the real cause: ants had gotten inside two safety components, setting off random trips. We swapped both out, then ran the circuit under load for ten minutes straight before signing off, zero trips. We're still keeping an eye on it, but it's holding strong.

Random, unexplained faults are usually a symptom of something specific, you just need someone who'll actually open the board and look.
