BEFORE ➡️ AFTER | INFINITY POOL AMENITIES 🌴

From scary and seriously overdue 😳 to amenities worthy of a 5- star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ tropical beach resort.

In collaboration with ROSSI ARCHITECTS we gave the Infinity Pool amenities at Mindil Beach Casino Resort a complete overhall, transforming a tired, dated space into a fresh contemporary coastal retreat 🌿

So great to attend the official opening of Pattemore Constructions new office — a space we were incredibly proud to design.

The best part? Hearing how much the team loves working in their new space, how great the acoustics are in the open office and how well it functions while still looking great.

It’s always rewarding to see a design come to life, but even better when you know it’s creating a workplace that people genuinely love coming to each day.

Hi, I'm Stef, the founder and designer behind Softline Studio (formerly Schapel Interiors).

🌅 Morning Person - 5am is where its at!
🌴 Proud to call the NT home - 28 years.
🏃 Running enthusiast - 10kms - 1hr.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Wife and mum of two amazing kids.
✈️ Always planning the next travel adventure - China is next!
✨ Obsessed with creating spaces that feel as good as they look - can't wait to show you my latest project soon!

What a fantastic evening at last week's NT Chapter - Australian Institute of Architects Awards! ✨ Great food, great company, and the opportunity to connect with so many passionate, like-minded architects and designers.

Congratulations to all of the award winners on your outstanding projects and always great to see the incredible local talent shaping the future of architecture and design in the NT.

A special mention to 93-year-old Peter Dermoudy. His fascinating stories of old Darwin architecture and reflections on the city's evolution were both inspiring and a powerful reminder of the rich history that continues to influence the way we design today.

Inspired by their incredible coastal location, we created a refined, contemporary interior that feels calm, luxurious and effortlessly connected to the surrounding landscape. Soft natural textures, warm timbers, light neutral tones and carefully curated finishes & fixtures bring a relaxed coastal elegance to every space.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a welcoming guest experience that reflects the unique beauty of the Territory's iconic waterfront.

So proud to have been part of the team to bring this vision to life. It's always rewarding to see a design evolve from concept to reality. ✨🌴

Happy Territory Day! 🧡

I will always call the Northern Territory home. It's where I was raised, where I studied, where I'm now raising my own family, and where my husband and I have had the opportunity to build and grow our own businesses.

The Territory is more than just a place to live—it's a community that backs local, celebrates hard work, and supports people chasing their dreams. That support has never been more evident than this week as we've launched Softline Studio. The encouragement has been truly overwhelming, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has followed along, shared kind words, and supported this new chapter.

Thank you for believing in local businesses like ours. We're proud to be part of the Territory community and look forward to continuing to design spaces that make a positive impact across the NT.
