⚠️ DON’T IGNORE THE WARNING SIGNS FROM YOUR SOLAR SYSTEM
These photos are from a recent call-out where a DC isolator caught fire, causing severe heat and fire damage to the solar panel.
If your solar system stops generating, produces noticeably less power, displays a fault code or doesn’t appear to be working correctly, arrange an inspection promptly.
Warning signs may include:
• No or reduced solar generation
• Warning lights or fault codes on the inverter
• Burning smells, unusual noises or visible damage
• The solar circuit repeatedly tripping
Solar panels continue producing electricity whenever exposed to sunlight, so faults should always be taken seriously. Keep clear of the equipment and contact a qualified solar electrician.
Don’t wait for a small fault to become a serious safety risk.
