Carney Roofing & Repairs recently completed a specialised roofing repair in Callala Bay, focusing on improving water tightness and resolving a previous leak issue at a change-of-pitch section.

Scope of works included:
✔️ Removal of existing faulty flashing
✔️ Installation of new 6m custom change-of-pitch flashing
✔️ Installation of corrugated foam backing, securely glued and sealed for correct support
✔️ Additional roof screw fixings installed to improve overall fastening and weather resistance

This type of repair requires precise installation to ensure correct water diversion and long-term waterproof performance, particularly at vulnerable pitch transition points.

We’re pleased to report the customer has since confirmed that after recent rainfall, including Sunday’s weather event, there have been no leaks whatsoever, and they are extremely happy with the outcome.
