NHG (New Horizon Gardens) is a leading garden maintenance business based in Dandenong and servicing Melbourne’s south-east.
Our work ranges from residential garden maintenance through to large commercial projects, including commercial-scale mowing, soft landscaping and owner’s corporation property maintenance.
We’re known for delivering excellent customer service and quality workmanship, with a personal level of care that larger commercial maintenance companies often struggle to provide. As a result, NHG has continued to grow—and we’ve decided it’s time to bring in some help.

The Position
We’re looking for an Office Administrator to join us for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Working days and hours will be negotiated between the successful applicant and the Directors.
You’ll assist the Directors by making sure our office activities are completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner. You may already be working for another trade-based business and be ready for a fresh and exciting challenge—or you may have the right experience from another fast-paced environment.
Wherever you are now, this is what you must be able to do to qualify for a role with NHG:
1. Take responsibility for scheduling jobs for the Directors and our field team.
2. Understand accounts payable and accounts receivable, including entering supplier bills and preparing and issuing customer invoices.
3. Provide excellent customer service, have a confident and professional phone manner, and communicate effectively with our clients.
4. Have fun, enjoy your work and take pride in what you achieve each day.
5. Be motivated, help the team meet deadlines and uphold NHG’s professional image.

Experience using Xero accounting software and Ascora—or a similar job management system—will be highly regarded.
