Darlinghurst family bathroom - two rain showers and a freestanding bath, both fitted into one wet room.

Terrazzo and black steel keep it sleek, while the Calacatta Viola marble vanity brings the wow factor.

Sometimes the best design decision is knowing what to leave alone. When we stripped back the old rendering on this original brick wall at our Darlinghurst project, we weren’t sure what we’d find underneath - turns out it was worth the risk. The texture and warmth of the exposed brick now anchors the whole stairwell, backlit to show off every imperfection.

The mono stringer staircase was custom fabricated by Sydney Staircase Builders - a striking, minimal counterpoint to all that raw texture.

Terrace houses are notorious for two things - no light, no space. This Darlinghurst renovation solves both with an atrium off the kitchen. The whole home feels bigger and brighter.
