You close the window, but the room still has that little winter chill.
That usually means the window is shut, but not performing as well as it could. Older timber windows can develop small gaps over time, letting cold air creep in and warm indoor air escape.
The glass can also be part of the problem. Single glazing does very little to slow heat transfer, so even if the window is closed, the room can still feel cold near the glass.
Thermawood Retrofit Double Glazing addresses both issues in one retrofit process. We fit an insulated glass unit into your existing timber windows and install high quality continuous draught seals to help keep cold air out and comfortable air inside.
It is not about replacing the timber windows your home already has. It is about helping them perform better for everyday comfort.
