Driver’s licence and reliable transport
Physically fit
Ability to work flexible hours

Whilst experience is not essential the following would be considered desirable:
Farming experience
HR/HC Licence
Forklift Licence
Experience in machinery operation
Experience in chemical application
Experience in machinery maintenance
Experience in operating irrigation

Position Description:
• Planting and maintaining areas of turf
• Irrigation
• Mowing
• Harvesting
• Machinery operation and maintenance
• Client liaison
• Turf installation
• Flexible in work hours to suit fluctuating seasonal work load

The position offered is casual however there may by the opportunity for permanent employment in the future for the right candidate.

Self-motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently or in a team environment

Chemcert certification or willingness to obtain

Position Description:
To manage all aspects of turf production including but not limited to
• Ground Preparation
• Planting and maintaining areas of turf
• Maintaining a chemical application plan for herbicides and insecticides,
• Irrigation
• Mowing
• Harvesting
• Machinery operation and maintenance
• Client liaison
• Turf installation
• Staff management
• Flexible in work hours to suit fluctuating seasonal work load

WORKER WANTED: We are currently looking for a temporary casual labourer/turf layer for on call/as needs casual work. No experience is necessary however prior farming experience, a truck licence or forklift licence will be an advantage. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this work.
