From 2 Mbps to 90+ Mbps throughout the property 👌📶

Our customer had been fighting with their home network for some time.

They’d tried improving things by adding a mesh Wi-Fi system, but placement, signal strength and speeds meant it just wasn’t delivering what they needed especially with a house full of devices and teenagers complaining about the internet! 😂

During our free network assessment, we tested around 90 Mbps at the router, but in the main living area they were getting just 2 Mbps.

We gave them two clear options:

Option 1 – Improve the existing setup
Tone, test and tidy the existing cabling, then keep their current mesh system but use the existing cables for wired backhaul, rather than relying on Wi-Fi between mesh points.

Option 2 – Upgrade the network
Tone, test and tidy the cabling, then install a Gigabit NAT router and two professional long-range wired access points, with cloud management, ongoing support and room for future expansion.

Two options. Two price points. A clear explanation of what each would achieve.

They opted for Option 2 and what a difference. 👌

Sometimes fixing Wi-Fi isn’t about adding another mesh point or booster.

It’s about understanding the property, making proper use of the cabling that’s already there, and designing a network around how the customer actually uses it.

Not every customer chooses on price. They choose confidence.

Another challenging installation completed… and another very happy customer! 👌

This beautiful two storey new build in Surfers Paradise had not been pre wired for CCTV during construction. We were the fourth company invited to quote.
Rather than making assumptions, we removed downlights to inspect the ceiling cavities, worked out how to fish cables between floors, and carefully planned the best camera locations for maximum coverage and detection.

The existing router was in the middle of the house where we could not get cables, but with the main incoming NBN was in the garage, we quoted to supply and install a new router in the garage, while repurposing the customer’s existing mesh router as a Wi-Fi access point. This allowed us to utilise the existing data cabling without affecting Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home.

The customer accepted our quotation without hesitation.

Fast forward to installation, our customers home had not a single piece of visible conduit on this brand new home.

When we finished, the customer said something that really stood out:

“You were actually the most expensive quote.”

So why did he choose See Sense?

Because we were the only company that gave him complete confidence we could deliver exactly what he wanted.

Some suggested mounting the cameras high under the eaves because it was easier, compromising the camera angles and reducing detection performance. Others wanted to install visible conduit down the outside of his brand-new home.

That simply wasn’t an option for us.

We recently attended a property where the customer just wasn’t getting along with their DoorBird intercom.

The existing unit had been installed (by others) a little too high, had a very narrow field of view and was not giving the customer the coverage or functionality they wanted particularly when away from home.

So we installed one of our smart doorbell style video intercoms, positioned to provide a much better view of visitors at the door.

We also added an internal screen, giving his wife an easy way to see who’s at the door before answering or attending to it.
