Clover Homes Clover Homes “We build it like its ours"

This is an example of working WITH your land.

Three levels, a granny flat at the rear, services pre-installed and even a lift planned for the lower slab.

Building on a slope takes more planning and more time, but it unlocks smarter layouts, better privacy and real character.

Clover Homes directors Andrew and Ron discuss which features they would put in their own home.

Planning a build and want these features? Reach out and let’s talk.

One side to call home, the other to fund your future.

This Farrington Parade duplex pairs a modern barn style facade with soft curves, skylights and a central courtyard that floods the living spaces with natural light. Three generous bedrooms plus a ground-floor fourth give real flexibility. The smaller second unit makes a smart investment.

Practical, beautiful design that works both now and later.

No…we don’t build granny flats.

But sometimes we do…if it’s a part of your home build.

So kinda yes..but mostly no 🤷🏼‍♂️

Our West Pennant Hills Project is starting to come to life!

The front lot has been excavated down to level platforms and will take a flat roof for a great view.

At the back we designed a bespoke home with a plunge pool and cantilevered sections to maximise space after needing to sit 4.5 metres from that tree.

Driveway and services are all in, so the site is ready to become something special.

Surprises on site are the last thing anyone wants.

During excavation we found an unstable retaining wall and fence that had to come down for safety. We called the client straight away, explained the risk and proposed a variation so the fix could be done now rather than delayed.

Construction can throw surprises at you sometimes… what matters is how you handle it.

At Clover Homes we prioritise honesty, clarity and collaboration so problems get fixed safely and without hidden costs. That is what good building looks like.

The reality of building a duplex often involves hidden site costs, compliance headaches, delays and the wrong builder can turn a project into stress.

We see it too often.

That is why we made the Smart Duplex Blueprint. It gives clear checklists, real case studies and step by step guidance to avoid costly mistakes from the start.

It is free to download and could save you money and months of worry. Head to our website to grab your copy today.

Same suburb. Same block size. Same frontage. Two very different outcomes.

One is an older house that needs constant upkeep. The other saw the potential, was subdivided and now supports two families, front and back, both with pools.

If you’re thinking of knocking down and rebuilding, reach out to our team and we can show what your block could become.

If you’re thinking about dual occupancy on your block, plan the services first. That includes water meters, sewer and stormwater.

This will mean everything can connect straight away. Sorting services up front avoids costly delays and surprises when you complete your subdivision.

Don’t let stormwater catch you out.

Under Ryde Council rules, if your stormwater can’t reach the street by gravity, you may need on-site detention, absorption or rainwater tanks. That can add significant cost if it is not flagged early.

We work closely with experienced stormwater hydraulic consultants to map the best solution and position assets so you get the most efficient outcome.
