Sungrow
This is a real example of why after-sales support and system reliability matter.

The system shown below has been experiencing ongoing battery balancing and operational issues for an extended period of time. As installers, we have contacted Sungrow support on multiple occasions — now six separate requests — attempting to have this matter properly resolved.

The system is repeatedly showing one battery at approximately 20–25% SOC while the remaining batteries remain at 100%, resulting in unnecessary grid import and incorrect system operation. Despite remote adjustments and ongoing discussions, the issue remains unresolved.

At the end of the day, customers invest significant money into these systems expecting them to work correctly and reliably. When they don’t, it is the installer and customer left dealing with the frustration, downtime, and lack of clear resolution.

We stand behind our customers and our installations, which is why we are now moving toward removing and replacing this system with equipment we have greater confidence in.

Reliable products and responsive technical support are critical in the battery and energy industry — especially when customers are depending on these systems every day.

Sungrow have been notified of this again this morning yet still cannot resolve it.
