This client was not happy with her previous hot water situation. Instead of just swapping out the unit and calling it a day, we sat down with her, understood how she lives, and designed a system built around that.

The result; a 16.6kWh BYD battery paired with a 270L heat pump, running off her solar system. Hot water when she needs it, powered by the sun, and a setup that actually suits her lifestyle.

One of the most common things we see in home electrical work is systems that are set up only for how people are living right now.

At the time, it works. The lights are on, the appliances run, and everything seems fine. But as your home evolves, that’s when the limitations start to show.

Quick tip for around the home.

Power board are handy, but they’re not designed to handle everything at once.

Plugging in high power appliances like heaters, kettles, or multiple large devices into the same board can put extra strain on your system and increase the risk of overheating.

It’s something we see often, especially in homes where more appliances have been added over time without upgrading the setup.
