What actually happens on ducted installation day? 👇
If you have a new ducted system instalation booked with us, here’s what to expect.
1️⃣ Deliveries can start arriving from around 6am. Don’t worry - there’s no need to be awake! If our team isn’t there yet, your equipment will be dropped quietly on the driveway. Our installation team will generally arrive between 7-8am and get set up for the day.
2️⃣ Before we start, we’ll walk through the installation with you and confirm the important details - outlet placement, indoor and outdoor unit locations, return air grille and where you’d like your controller.
3️⃣ Then the messy bit starts. We’ll need access to the ceiling and different areas throughout your home while we install the ductwork, outlets, equipment and electrical.
4️⃣ There’ll be some noise throughout the day and your power may need to be switched off temporarily while electrical work is completed. We’ll let you know before this happens.
5️⃣ Once everything is installed, we test and commission the entire system - checking airflow, zones, controls and operation.
6️⃣ Before we leave, we clean up our work areas and walk you through your new system, including how to use your controller and zones.
Most importantly: you don’t need to know anything about air conditioning before we arrive. We’ll talk you through the decisions we need from you and take care of the rest.
