Todays job was a little different but still in the the theme of what we do.
After an early start, some trailer repairs along the way due to an overheating wheel brake at a cattle station (lucky we know mostly everyone) we finally got to our location to install three driveway alarms.
These nice little units wirellessly transmit back over a distance of 1.6km to a reciever in the house to give the owner a heads up of an approaching vehicle.
Two different styles were installed today being a rubber tube phneumatic style and a couple of magnetic sensing probes alarms. This partictular reciever also outputs to an app so you can get alerts to your phone while you are away.
If this is something of interest to you please reach out.

A quick little modification to an existing Starlink Mini installation on a local cattle truck today. It was having issues with dropped calls and general reliability. This is often related to power supply issues and placement so a 12-30v step up was added to make a more reliable voltage. The mini was also relocated to under the air scoop so it was able to have a better view of the sky, strangely enough these little units are capable of working through fibreglass canopies so the scoop won't be a problem. First test phone call from along the road was promising.

Just posting up a couple pictures of a CCTV installation we did a some time ago on a farm up in FNQ. Whilst in the area recently we changed out one camera to a nice 360 degree/16x zoom unit which gives better vision around the farm. This model camera has a 'smart patrol' feature with multiple preset locations. We also added an additional infrared light to another camera to reduce insect attraction at night and better night vision, and yes that a 110 inch tv as a monitor. Go big!!

Introducing our new wifi camera trailer!

Built for the paddocks you can't get to every day. It runs on Starlink Mini, WiFi camera, solar panel and battery — a fully self-sufficient setup that doesn't rely on mains power or existing internet.

Tow it out to wherever you need eyes — a remote trough, a water tank, a yard, a boundary — and set it up in minutes. The solar panel and battery keep it running around the clock, while the Starlink Mini gives you a live feed straight to your phone, no matter how far out you are.

Check water levels, spot stock movements, or keep watch over gear, all without the drive. And with eyes on your remote sites, it's an extra layer of security against theft and trespassing too.
