Atelier Objects explores ceramics beyond the traditional surface — transforming clay into sculptural, functional pieces for the bathroom and interior.

From handcrafted basins and vanities to mirrors, tables and bespoke objects, each piece is shaped by material, texture and craftsmanship, offering architects and designers greater freedom to create something truly distinctive.

Sustainability is not something we claim to have perfected.

It is something we keep in mind in the materials we choose, the partners we work with, the advice we give and the way we do business.

For us, that means thinking long term, prioritising durability, being honest about material performance and continuing to question where we can do better.

There is still more to improve — and that matters.

Because sustainability should not be a label. It should influence the decisions we make every day.

Sustainability is not a single feature. It is considered at every stage of the system’s life.

From renewable-biogas manufacturing and prefabricated dry installation to passive building performance, long-term durability and material recovery, Flexbrick is designed to reduce waste and retain value over time.

With no mortar, adhesives or sealants, individual pieces can be replaced when required, while the panels can eventually be dismantled and separated into their respective material cycles.

Flexbrick: sustainable throughout its lifecycle.

A contemporary take on one of architecture’s most enduring materials.

The LOHAS Modern Brick Range brings together durability, low maintenance and broad design flexibility across colour, texture and format.

Its perforated extruded profile makes each brick lighter to transport and handle, while also supporting more efficient firing. The use of biogas during production further helps reduce CO₂ emissions, contributing to a more considered manufacturing process.

A versatile clay brick range for projects seeking strong technical performance, lasting material character and greater design freedom.

Brick as structure, surface and atmosphere.

At Shakespeare Grove Residence, B.E. Architecture uses a restrained material palette to give a new home the depth and permanence of something that has long belonged to its Hawthorn setting.

LOHAS Roman Handmade bricks in Claro carry the architecture from the street-facing façade into the vaulted interior spaces. Their elongated proportions, handworked texture and natural tonal variation heighten the rhythm of the masonry, allowing arches, cornices and curved ceilings to feel both precise and softly articulated.

The residence demonstrates how a single material can establish continuity between exterior and interior — grounding contemporary architecture in warmth, texture and time.

Some materials follow trends. Others quietly outlast them.

Quarry Tiles have been trusted for generations because they solve real design challenges—not because they’re fashionable.

Fired from natural clay, they offer exceptional durability, slip resistance and rich, permanent colour that won’t fade over time.

Suitable across residential, hospitality and commercial projects, they transition effortlessly from floors and stairways to facades, courtyards and high-traffic public spaces.

Swipe through to discover why Quarry Tiles continue to be specified by architects looking for materials that perform as well as they age.

A civic façade shaped by material, light and performance.

At Green Square Public School & Community Spaces, Flexbrick was used as a permeable ceramic screen — bringing privacy, shade and ventilation to learning spaces while giving the building a strong material identity within its dense urban context.

Supplied by LOHAS, the system combines terracotta elements with stainless steel mesh to create a façade that feels open, layered and deeply connected to place.

Shortlisted in the Public Design category at the 2026 Australian Interior Design Awards, the project demonstrates how ceramic systems can support both architectural expression and everyday function.

Award-winning design, grounded in circular material thinking.

For the Arup Workplace Perth/Boorloo by Hames Sharley, in collaboration with Arup and Peter Farmer Designs, LOHAS supplied recycled bricks used across the pavers and crafted details — bringing warmth, texture and reuse into a future-focused workplace interior.

The project received an Award for Sustainability Advancement at the 2025 Australian Interior Design Awards, recognising an approach where sustainability is not treated as an add-on, but embedded into the way the space is designed, detailed and experienced.

Recycled materials. Thoughtful detailing. A workplace shaped with long-term impact in mind.

Bespoke glazed tiles, carried beyond the surface.

At Clay House, ceramic is used as a continuous material language, moving from architectural surfaces into furniture, objects and everyday details.

From bedside tables to outdoor furniture, each piece was developed to feel integrated into the home, not added later. The glaze brings colour, depth and tactility while maintaining a strong connection to clay, craft and natural materiality.

For architects, designers and homeowners, LOHAS’ glazed tile collection can be customised across colour, format, finish, texture and application, allowing ceramic to be shaped around the intent of a project.

A material approach, tailored to your space.
