Thank you to the TCCI for providing this high level engagement opportunity to ourselves and key industry stakeholders.

Our Executive Director Ben Shaw took the opportunity to discuss the huge infrastructure pipeline facing the energy and Major projects sector with the need for a strong focus on workforce capacity, development and a sensible approach to addressing the need to bring new apprenticeships on board sustainably.

Among many other very important topics openly discussed in the room, these are extremely valuable conversations and rooms to be in and for NECA to be representing our sector is greatly beneficial.

WE MADE THE NATIONAL NECA MAGAZINE! ⚡️

A pretty special moment for our Tassie Women in Electro Committee, seeing our work featured in the latest edition of the NECA national quarterly magazine!

What started with a group of passionate people wanting to create more connection, support and opportunities for women in our industry has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.

From bringing women together, creating opportunities to celebrate the incredible women in our industry, supporting the next generation and simply making sure no one feels like they’re doing it alone… we’re proud of what we’re building here in Tasmania. 🦺

And now, seeing our little Tassie committee recognised on a national level is pretty special!!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, attended, volunteered, sponsored and backed Women in Electro Tasmania along the way.

This is only the beginning. 💪🏼
