Alma House, Alma Place
Beechworth, VIC
Waveroo and Dhuduroa Country
A new home on client-led sustainable subdivision.
Currently under construction beside the future community park, Alma House leads a small, sustainability-led subdivision developed by our clients. Achieving an 8.8-star NatHERS rating, the project reflects a multi-scalar approach to sustainable building, in which individual homes can contribute to shared landscape, long-term performance and community life. As construction progresses at Alma House, the surrounding community park and water-sensitive landscape systems are beginning to take shape.

“The proposed Alma Place development, located at 24 Alma Road in Beechworth, provides a good case study of how the Sustainable Subdivisions Framework (SSF) can guide and facilitate exemplary sustainability outcomes on a small residential development project.
Alma Place meets or exceeds the majority of the sustainability performance criteria outlined in the SSF across all seven categories.”
