Site Update 🏠

It’s always important to stop and appreciate progress.

Just six weeks ago, this project was getting the site surveyed. Today, the roofing is well underway, the roof plumbers have done a fantastic job, and we’re less than two weeks away from installing windows.

If things continue at this pace, we’ll be locked up by late July.

Fast projects don’t happen by accident. They come from good planning, clear communication, reliable trades, and a team that takes pride in their work every day.

Looking forward to sharing the next stage of this build with you.

Sun’s out, buns out. ☀️

There’s something epic about laying floor on a clear Melbourne day!

Myself and the boys putting down yellow tongue, getting this footprint on step closer to home, it always feel rewarding 👌

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t proud of this one. Great clients, great outcome, and a sign-off you definitely didn’t see coming. Some builders finish with a handshake. I finish with… well, watch to the end. 💨

Some projects are more than a build, they become a story.

This Albert Park home started as a vision.. extend the rear, reimagine the kitchen, add a bathroom, a laundry, a deck. On paper, a list of scopes. In reality, months of decisions, details, and craftsmanship stacked one on top of the other.

Custom mixed concrete floors. Leathered stone benchtops. Cabinetry built to last. Feature lighting that shifts the entire mood of a room at dusk. None of it happens by accident.

This is what we do at Templ, we see the long projects through, and we don’t cut corners at the finish line.

Sometimes the best way to lead is to just roll your sleeves up.

Byron had his hands full with something that needed every bit of his attention today. The kind of work where your mind has to be completely in it. No distractions, no interruptions.

So I took the smaller jobs off his plate. Kept the site moving, kept his focus intact. That's how we look after our team. And that's how the work stays at the level it needs to be.

From the bay to the city and everywhere in between. From the bay to the city and everywhere in between.

Phillip Island, Collingwood, Keysborough, Malvern. Just a few of the builds we've got running at the moment. Renovations, extensions, demolitions. Every single one a different family, a different story, a different version of what home means to someone.

Grateful to be a part of so many clients' journeys right now. Building someone's Templ is never lost on us and with this many in progress at once, that feeling is everywhere at the moment.

Some blocks have a slope. This one has ambitions. Engineering ambitions. Expensive ones.
The rock walls, the earthworks, the engineered footings, this site doesn’t do anything the easy way. And honestly? That’s exactly why we took it on.
This is where the real building happens. Not just homes, solutions.
Stay tuned. This one’s going to be something special. 🏗️

This is the part of building nobody talks about.

I had the cabinet maker out at Malvern, and before we touched a single measurement, we just talked. The client's vision, what she's after, what's on the drawings versus what's actually going to work in the space.

That's my job. I'm the bridge between what the client wants and what the trade needs to hear. Get that conversation right and everything flows. Get it wrong and the whole thing unravels.

Sometimes you pull up to a site and it just feels right.
This one’s out in Yarra , walked the slope, took it all in, and honestly couldn’t wait to get started. There’s something about seeing a space before the work begins that I love. All that potential just sitting there.
It’s going to come together beautifully. Come along for the ride 🙌
