Butynol waterproofing now installed, front balustrade clad, and all walls sheeted ready for rendering. The deck is now ready for pods to go down, another milestone at the Port Melbourne rooftop project.

Malvern bathroom reno

Pulled up the old subfloor and found it framed incorrectly, with a floor joist completely cut through by a previous plumber. Subfloor was also full of old construction waste, which we cleared out.

Full re frame of the floor structure, then re sheeted floor and walls in water resistant board. Solid base before anything else goes in.

New insulation installed, roof reframed and re-sheeted in ply, ready for the next stage, a Butynol rubber membrane to waterproof this rooftop deck for the long haul.
