We’re Here to Stay 🙌🏼
We’re absolutely thrilled to finally say, we’re here to stay!
It’s safe to say it’s been a year, a long road with plenty of twists and turns, but every moment has been worth it. Doors have opened, travellers have been welcomed, bellies have been filled with some bloody good food, and mornings made brighter with damn good coffee. ☕🍳
Our Story
Rell, the brains, the heart, and the backbone of our family, was born and bred in Windorah. She’s been happily married to Mick (very funny, loves a good night out, and loves his family even more) for 29 years and counting. Together they have three amazing kids - Ryan, Teisha, and Grant.
Ryan is holding down the fort on our family property, 760km away, and has been a huge supporter of this adventure.
Teisha is our biggest cheerleader, errand runner, and backup staff member, let’s just call her our 2IC!
Grant helped us through our first season - we honestly couldn’t have done it without him. No two days are ever the same, but we always find a reason to laugh. Thank you, thank you, thank you
(Let’s see if we can convince him to come back next year, haha!)
A massive shoutout to our in-laws, your hard work and support mean the world to us. Thank you for always showing up when we need you most.
And to everyone who has stood by us on this journey, whether it’s been emotional support, helping serve, Amanda, or joining us for an afternoon celebration at the end of a long day, we couldn’t have done it without you. Also, to our suppliers, thank you for being patient with us as we learn the ropes. 🙏
What’s Next
We can confirm - this is exhausting work! But every day, we show up with our doors wide open, ready to do it all again.
We’re already looking forward to next year.
The operation will be bigger and better than ever, from our serving setup and goods for sale to the coffee machine, kitchen, hot box, and shopfront.
We’re so excited for what’s to come and so grateful for everyone who’s been part of our story so far.
