SolarEdge Energy Hub....
What is it and how can it benefit you?
The specs and engineering setup are out for the SolarEdge Energy Hub and it is without doubt the best option on the market today.
Every single phase home should have the Energy Hub by 2030 (unless something better comes out in the mean time)
The SolarEdge Energy Hub Inverter has a direct connection terminal (cable) with the SolarEdge Battery (coming late 2021). Just plug it in. This is a DC to DC connection, which means it doesn't have to change your power from DC off the panels to AC through the inverter, and then repeat again.
You will not need to buy an additional expensive interface and spend a fortune on an cable setup like all the other “Battery Ready” Solar Systems.
Battery prices are fairly expensive now (depending on return on investment)
but are expected to drop in price over the next few years due to mass production of the batteries, technology upgrades and a potential of a government rebate.
What this means for you is a potentail to drop your bills to ZERO DOLLARS with a setup like this.
Another advantage is in the electric vehicle space, so if you're planning to buy an Electric Vehicle in the coming years, SolarEdge Energy Hub Inverter has a direct connection terminal with Universal EV Chargers, already at the forefront of this technology.
The SolarEdge EV Chargers (not yet in Australia)
when directly connected to the Energy Hub, allow 100% Electric Vehicle charging from your rooftop solar. If you work from home just plug it during the day. If you don't, that's ok too, having the battery connected to the system means you can plug it in at night and it will use your fully charged SolarEdge Battery, not taking from the grid and costing you electricity sending that hard earned to Synergy.
The SolarEdge Energy Hub Inverter is expandable from a 6.66kW Solar System to a 10kW Solar System when connected to the SolarEdge Battery.
If your family and electricity usage grows overtime or you no longer have enough solar to charge your first electric vehicle, don’t replace your solar system, expand it to 10kW.... Simple!
Energy Hub is 100% optimised, which means all panels together can create upto 6% more performance because of the way the technology is set up (up to 22% with shaded roofs)
It also allows you to have panels facing every which way you desire with your household consumption times in mind, and to produce power from sun up to sun down, where a normal string type system can only have panels facing in to different directions.
The Energy Hub allows you to monitor each individual panel for issues over your solar systems 25 year life span. What's the point of having a panel with a 15-30 year warranty if you don't know when something is wrong?
The Energy Hub has an in-built Smart Meter, meaning you can monitor how much electricity you're using from your solar production. If you've had solar before you will know how important this is.
With your old solar system that did not have a smart meter, did you wonder if your solar system is working, or did you have to wait for your bill to come in, and that's if you know how to read your bill and calculate what you should be producing from your system.
Are your panels broken or producing less over time or is the inverter malfunctioning? With this system, it's something your don't have to worry about.... It tells you.
