He has years of electrical and aircon experience! Installing ducted systems, split systems, switchboards and general electrical, really down to earth guy! Born is South Africa and moved to Australia with his family when he was young, making 2 x South African Shaun’s working here 😅

Busy day taking out an old ducted system that had been installed poorly, we would say the worst install we’ve ever seen! It’s cause so much water damage throughout the house, unfortunate for the home owners but the new system going in will be awesome!

⚠️ URGENT PRODUCT RECALL – Giantz 2.5mm Twin Core Electric Cable ⚠️

The ACCC has issued a product safety recall for the Giantz 2.5mm Twin Core Electric Cable by New Aim Pty Ltd due to serious fire and electric shock hazards.

The cable’s current rating are significantly lower than marked and advertised.
🚩This can cause the cable to overload, overheat and catch fire during use.
🔌 The 2.5mm twin core electrical cable is supplied in:
❌ 100m rolls (SKU: TWIN-CABLE-2P5-100)
❌ 30m rolls (SKU: TWIN-CABLE-2P5-30)
❌ 10m rolls (SKU: TWIN-CABLE-2P5-10).

🚨 Hazards include risk of serious injury, death, or property damage due to electric shock or fire.

What you should do:
✅ If you have rolls of cable not yet installed, check the affected product label or packaging for the model and batch number. Do not use if it is within the recall range.
✅ If you are a customer who has this cable installed, stop using any circuit that has this cable installed. Contact the person that installed the cable to arrange for it to be replaced and returned to the supplier.
✅ If you installed this cable for a customer, notify your customer and arrange for the cable to be replaced and returned to the supplier.
✅ Contact New Aim customer service to arrange a refund. When contacting New Aim, please provide product details or proof of purchase.
