Sometimes building can be get a bit monotonous, once you’ve built one house, they’re all fairly similar and follow design and architecture trends. That’s why I love higher end renovation work. What we get to do sometimes is nothing short of amazing and I feel privileged to be able to do it. These recycled wharf Timbers were off North Wharf of Docklands and to think some of these Timbers could’ve been felled 100-150years ago and then had carpenters hand dress them up to 4 generations ago blows me away and we get to give them another life as beautiful exposed trusses on our Merrijig Project. This is our process to get our concealed brackets in and the wire dressing with the sample blocks oiled up for client and designer approval Eco Timber Group - Richmond Melbourne

Always have to check everything when being a renovation builder. We have new trusses going on this area and if we didn’t expose walls and check every aspect of the frame it would be a disaster. This is just a complete hack job from a reputable builder in these parts a couple of decades ago.
