Not your average barn door.

This custom 400kg farm barn door was fabricated by the team at Nicco Joinery and installed by Lifestyle Building & Design at our Southern Highlands project.

A piece like this is not just joinery — it is structure, coordination, planning and ex*****on all coming together. From the hardwood detailing to the scale of the install, every part had to be handled with precision.

This home went on to win an HIA Award, and details like this are exactly why. Big, bold, beautifully made, and built to last.

Residential Site Foreman – High-End Builds | Sutherland Shire

Lifestyle Building Design is a boutique builder specialising in bespoke high-end residential homes and renovations across Sydney. Our projects demand a high standard of finish, coordination, and site control. We’re looking for an experienced Site Foreman to run our jobs day-to-day.

**The role**
You’ll take ownership of one or more residential sites, managing trades, programme, quality, and safety from early works through to handover. You’ll be the on-site point of contact keeping the job moving and the standard high.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and suppliers to programme
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, and sequencing
- Maintain quality control to a high-end finish standard
- Run daily site safety, SWMS, inductions, and WHS compliance
- Keep accurate site records, diaries, and progress reporting
- Liaise with the office, clients, architects, and certifiers as required
- Identify and flag variations, delays, and issues early

What you’ll need
- Proven experience as a foreman/supervisor on quality residential projects
- Strong knowledge of NSW building standards, BCA, and WHS requirements
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- White Card and relevant tickets/licences
- Trade background (carpentry preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and a hands-on, problem-solving approach
- Driver’s licence

Yowie Project taking shape.

Curved concrete, brickwork, steel, waterfront views and plenty of detail coming together on site.

This one is a serious build — big structure, tight set-out, heavy coordination and the kind of architectural detail that only works when every trade is on the same page.

Still a long way to go, but the bones are starting to show, and this is where the project starts to feel real.
