Well, here’s the finished result. ✨

For this project, we installed 6 CCTV cameras and an alarm system, giving the salon complete coverage and added peace of mind.

It’s always rewarding seeing a project come together, especially one that’s been months in the making.

Some of us were securing a waterfront home with access control, CCTV and alarms…

Some of us flew to Townsville for an overnight security job… then made the most of some well-earned downtime before heading home. ☀️🍻

Some of us were chasing ants out of an alarm sensor… 🐜😹

And some of us were freezing our fingertips off trying to film it all… 🥶🎥

Most installs go exactly to plan.

This one didn’t 😭

A hidden copper pipe and a drill bit crossed paths, and suddenly we had water where it definitely wasn’t supposed to be.

The important part wasn’t the mistake. It was the response.

✅ Water isolated immediately

✅ Power off

✅ Plumber on site within the hour

✅ Repairs organised and completed within 3 days

✅ All hands on deck to get the place as clean as possible whilst we await final repairs

✅ Customer looked after with a grazing box 🧀🍇

Nobody likes when things go wrong, but we’re big believers that accountability matters.

A big thank you to the homeowner for being so understanding while we got everything sorted.

This was the first time we’ve ever had to send an apology grazing box and we certainly hope it’s the last.

Another week at CGF.

This week included solar and battery installations, CCTV, catching up with some of our clients, and a quick trip to Far North Queensland to help another security company with a specialist installation.

There was just enough time for Chad to enjoy the tropical weather (and a well-earned beer 🍺☀️) before heading back to Sydney.
