Remember, it's all about getting the layout right first. Colours can be changed later.

NOW TRENDING: RED & BLUE ❤️💙

Spring 2026 is looking a little different around here.

Forget the neutrals. We're bringing out the big guns with Colourpyne's Primary Red and Blue.

A little colour, a whole lot of Knights pride.

GJK since 1979.
NK since 1988. 🔴🔵

Two local legends.
Both built on hard work, dedication,
And a never-say-die attitude.

One ready to build.
One ready to battle.

The stage is set.
The boys are ready.
Let's bloody go! 💪

Cabinet-Making vs. Stonemasonry
A rivalry that's lasted the (stone) ages.

Customer:
Wow, that's one hell of a kitchen.
The stonemason did a great job.

Cabinet-Maker:
That's fair.
The benchtop is pretty spectacular.
But what about the cabinets?
Without the cabinets, there's no benchtop.
So really, the cabinets are the backbone of this kitchen.
The stonemason just chucked the slab on at the end.

Customer:
Okay....

These might sound like just passing comments...

But when they're unsolicited, and they come from one of our regular builders, they make your heart absolutely burst with pride.

1. "The customers are so happy with it."

2. "Your guy was so good, there was nothing he couldn't do."

3. "If your young guy didn't have anything to do, then he was sweeping the floor."

4. "I didn't have to babysit them, they were good."

5. "Your stonemason has called me a few times with updates."

6. "You've got a good team."

It's the little things that mean a lot.

Cheers Jack Birchwood Building and Construction 🙏

What do you post when you can't think of anything to post?

A 'Meet Our Team' post!
Obviously.

You've all met Brenden.

In charge around here.
Allegedly.

Hates being late.
Especially when Claire makes him late.

Old favourite saying:
"It'll be the Knights turn next year."

New favourite saying:
"Ask Harold."

Currently managing 47 things that weren't on today's schedule.

If you can't get hold of him…
Claire probably knows where he is. 😜

This kitchen was earned, not rushed.
One cabinet at a time on site.
One panel at a time in the workshop.
And months in the office.
Planning every tiny detail.
This is the bit nobody sees.

Let me explain. 👇

Harold and I went to JBI today.
This was their hot take:

Cabinet making businesses aren't trade businesses.
They're manufacturing businesses. 🤔

What you see installed in someone's home,
That's the final 10% of the job.
Everything that made it possible happened in the factory.

Measure. Draft. Cut. Edge. Assemble. Prep. Transport.
Then "trade business."

The install is only as good as the factory.
The factory is only as good as the planning.
The planning is only as good as the wife's encouragement.

I'm a manufacturer's wife now.
Sounds luxe.

Bad news I'm afraid -
We're down an apprentice.
For 3 months.

Hannah is off to the USA. 🛩
For an international netball program!

We're incredibly proud to see her go.
Enjoy every minute.

Someone is definitely going to steal your lunch chair.
And probably your favourite drill. 🤷‍♀️
