QUEENSLAND 2022 - SMOKE ALARM LEGISLATION
From 1 January 2022, all domestic properties that are leased or sold must comply with the following new standards.
* Smoke alarms must be installed in every bedroom and in every hallway outside of a bedroom and on every level.
* All alarms must be either hard-wired 240V or have a non-removable 10-year lithium battery.
* All smoke alarms must be interconnected - either by being wired together, connected using radio frequency wireless
technology, or a mixture of these two methods.
* Where practicable, alarms must be placed on the ceiling and not within 300mm from a wall or a light fitting or within
400mm of an air-conditioner or ceiling fan blades.

Fulfilling Our Promise

That's basically what we set out to achieve when we start a business. And that's whats required for our venture to be successful; to fulfil the promise we made.

Vs. a broken promise - a product or service or experience that isn't quite what the customer was hoping for, and leaves him just a little disappointed or chagrined or unimpressed.

We build a reputation worth putting confidence in, if we can keep, or better still completely beat, the expectation we've given our customers - through our marketing, or what their friends told them - every time. Customers have too many options today to give us more than a couple of chances.

And it will be too hard to come back and try again, if we can't be trusted to get it right every time.

Or at least take complete ownership and repair our mistakes - with WOW - if and when we do let them down.

They'll trust us when they know we keep our promises. Every time. And when we fix it fast and well when we slip up.

Isn't it so much easier to buy from a company you know will do what they say they will?
