Before and after: a breathtaking transformation of our Buxus Garden.

What started as a simple lawn and garden beds has become an entertainer's dream, wrapped in a stunning, structured planting palette.

We transformed the space with a dedicated bluestone entertaining area, layered Buxus planting, a BBQ bench and a striking pitched pergola - all while keeping the lawn the family loves.

Many of the 302 Buxus plants filling this garden were rescued from other gardens and nursed back to health, creating a lush, cloud-like softness throughout. The bluestone paving flows seamlessly from the entertaining area into the lawn, tying the whole space together.

The result? A garden that balances structure with softness, and function with beauty.

Step inside a sneak peek of our latest design project.

This is where formal meets structure. Lush, layered garden beds are anchored by Buxus spheres, while bluestone paving offers a striking contrast to the greenery. A water bowl sits beside the front entrance, making a beautiful statement, while focal trees balance the height and add interest throughout.

The seating area creates a place to pause and enjoy the space, while also serving as a focal point that draws the eye through the garden. A truly beautiful space.

Our Malvern Entertainer commands its garden borders, with the fast-growing Pyrus calleryana 'Capital' lining the boundary to provide privacy from neighbouring properties.

The garden unfolds across three distinct zones - a gravel area, pergola and pool. Parthenocissus tricuspidata climbs the face of the pergola, casting the space in dappled greenery overhead and turning the garden into a true sanctuary, with lush texture surrounding you from every angle.

Beneath the Pyrus, Liriope muscari, Persicaria affinis, and clipped Buxus spheres layer the groundcover with a pop of purple. Along the boundary fence, Ficus pumila climbs the lattice, extending the privacy screen and continuing the garden's 360-degree greenery.

In the opposite corner, the pool takes its place as the next focal point, with Prunus lusitanica carrying the brief of privacy through to the water's edge.

This garden is the definition of a sanctuary - lush garden beds balanced with a fully functional entertaining area at its centre. A truly timeless garden.

Looking for the plant that gives your garden its spring 'wow' factor? Here are five spring plants worth adding to your landscape this season.

Bartlettina sordida 'Purple Torch' opens the list as a true showstopper - dark green foliage paired with striking purple blooms for instant colour and texture. Thrives in partial shade to full sun with moist, well-drained soil. Low-fuss, high impact, growing 1.2m–2.4m.

Cercis canadensis 'Forest Pansy' bursts into clusters of vivid pink blooms along bare branches before the leaves emerge - one of spring's most striking displays. Reaches 6–9m at maturity, with heart-shaped foliage that holds its colour well beyond spring.

Cornus florida (Flowering Dogwood) is known for its early spring show, when large white bracts blanket the branches. Reaches up to 10m, and grows best in moist, partial shade with well-drained soil.

Trachelospermum jasminoides (Star Jasmine) brings vertical interest - a fragrant evergreen climber with star-shaped white blooms in late spring. Grows as a 60cm shrub or climbs to 6m when trained.

Agastache 'Sweet Lili' closes the list with long-lasting colour and movement - spike-like flowers at 120cm tall, 60cm spread. A standout in our Camberwell Meadow garden.

In our Camberwell Meadow garden, the brief called for a plant-focused space that was as functional as it was beautiful.

Playing off the home's Victorian charm, the garden needed to feel distinctly modern - not replacing the architecture's character, but building on it. A sleek doorway structure anchors the transition from front to side garden, introducing contemporary hardscaping while drawing you further in to explore. Through the beautiful garden, canopied by mature Pyrus calleryana trees, Hosta 'Halcyon' and Asplenium bulbiferum fill the space below; the transition gets better with each step.

Agastache 'Sweet Lili' and Poa labillardieri 'Eskdale' bring a layered planting palette to the rear garden, while an existing Lagerstroemia stands as the true focal point, its pink blooms framing the entrance to the outdoor entertaining area.

Lush garden beds meet considered functionality - a fireplace and BBQ bench invite you outdoors, extending the home into the landscape itself.

Introducing our latest Canterbury design.

This landscape design brings a considered, layered approach. Lush, textured garden beds and classic Buxus spheres complement the home's architecture, while a water bowl at the entrance introduces a quiet moment of calm on arrival, setting the tone for the home.

That same layered planting style carries through to the rear, where the existing pergola supports a climbing plant, adding height and greenery to make the most of a compact space.

Proof that great landscape design isn't always about size; it's about intention and placement.

Looking for a stunning focal point? Look no further than beautiful trees.

Our Deepdene Forest garden showcases the elegant Pyrus calleryana 'Capital' - prized for its narrow, columnar growth habit. Their slender form makes them the perfect fit for lining the driveway, adding structured greenery year-round and a beautiful display of white blossom in spring.

In Bayside Retreat, the rear garden's Ginkgo biloba trees are the centrepiece - their green foliage separates the modern architecture and bluestone paving, softening the garden while adding dramatic height at just the right scale, without ever taking over.

Canterbury Violet garden guides you towards the rest of the space, with the front garden pathway canopied by several Acer palmatum (Japanese Maple) that create drama and a sense of invitation, softened by groundcovers filling in below.

Sometimes the simplest elements - a line of trees guiding you, or making a statement - make the biggest impression.

A sneak peek into our new Kew design.

A small space called for maximum impact - balanced with the timeless simplicity of this home's heritage style. We shifted the front path from the side of the home to the centre, creating a more intentional transition from footpath to front door. Bluestone paving ties the path back to the existing bluestone borders of the tiled veranda.

At the end of the stepping path, a feature tree lets the gaze drift through lush, dense planting. A screening hedge along the front fence line adds privacy and a sense of sanctuary to the garden.

A quiet garden, thoughtfully considered - from the first step to the last.
