Great outcome for our Lutuv Church project! 🙏

We recently presented our concept design for the transformation of an existing warehouse into a new church and worship space. We’re delighted that the Church Committee received the design very positively and approved the concept straight away.

Transforming a warehouse into a church is about much more than fitting in seats—it’s about creating a welcoming, functional and inspiring home for worship, fellowship and future growth.

Great to catch up with Architeam Director Sam Perversi-Brooks, who is also a Director at NH Architecture, and have a look around their studio.

One of the things I really value about Architeam is that it’s a truly national community. When you’re travelling interstate, there’s always an opportunity to catch up with fellow architects, visit their studios, swap ideas and learn from what others are doing.

Architecture is a small world, and it’s always good to connect over a coffee!

Excited to begin concept design for this charming heritage property in Sorell, Tasmania, with an ambitious vision from our client: to transform it into a landmark café and restaurant — a destination people will want to visit, experience and remember.

The existing building has wonderful character, history and stories embedded in its walls. Our challenge is not to erase the past, but to celebrate it while giving the property a new life and purpose.

For us, this project is also about Designing Smarter: Efficient & Economical Design for Renovation, Reuse & Heritage Homes.

Good adaptive reuse is not simply about spending more. It is about understanding what should be retained, what can be reused, where to intervene, and where investment will create the greatest impact — architecturally, commercially and environmentally.

We’ll be exploring how heritage architecture, contemporary hospitality design, landscape and carefully considered new interventions can come together to create something uniquely Sorell.

Respect the past. Design smarter. Create the next chapter.
