Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I now live in the beautiful Whitsundays, Queensland, and am fortunate to work with my passion, art. I sold my first oil painting at age 13, and have matured through many phases of mediums and creations over the last 25 years. Living and working in Thailand in 1998 I discovered this fabulous technique using carbon powder and dry brushes that I now specialize in. Although I'd had experience using oils, air-brushing, graphite and coloured pencil, pastel and charcoal, being exposed to this local Thai method was a huge turning point for me as a portrait artist. Though I continued to favour pencils, the demand for my carbon powder portraits became dominant. I am a multi-award winning professional artist. I work in many media but have specialised in detailed carbon powder (similar to charcoal and graphite pencil) for many years. My portrait re-creation of loved ones has been my business for over 15 years. My people and pet portraits are commissioned internationally, please look around and you will see why.
