Photos don't due this project justice, but I couldn't have been happier with the end product, the effort from the entire team to get this project completed was above and beyond what I could ever ask for, all led by kid from Bungendore, Michael Warner.

Being able to sit back and admire buildings like this, knowing it will stand like this for long after we'll be here, is one of the many things that make bricklaying one of the great trades to be a part of, well done team!

WE HAVE A NEW SHAREHOLDER!!!

Every few months I try to knock the boys off early on a Friday and head out for a social event to show my appreciation for all that these guys do, we were short a fair few guys, but it was a great arvo at virtual golf!

Today also doubled as a celebration to welcome Daniel Sheehan as an official shareholder of CTR. Danny was my first ever apprentice and has stuck loyal to me and constantly gone above and beyond!

Everyone respects and appreciates you Danny and I personally can't wait to continue to grow this business, continue to improve our trade and the industry!

It's with a heavy heart that we have to let you know that the young man who passed away at Gibralter Falls on Saturday was one of our bricklayers, Pat Prevett.

Pat was a young country boy from Orange, who would honestly give the shirt off his back for anyone, he was loved and respected by all and we'll all miss you mate.

It's another reminder of how precious life is, please make sure we cherish every moment with our loved ones guys.

This is our SA8 project we completed last year and I finally got the chance to go past today and take some pics!

The effort the entire team put in to get this project done, throughout covid and countless setbacks, made it the job I am the most proud of as a company to have completed!

The best part of our job is seeing the scaffold come down!

This is just one of 6 buildings we are doing at our SA8 project at the ANU. This project has been an absolute battle, with extremely poor access, small panels, the dreaded solid bricks, not to mention covid, lockdowns, rain and extreme heat. But I couldn't more proud of all the men who have worked on this site, they have absolutely killed it!

This might be a little bit exaggerated, but seriously guys, times are a changing. If you want to work hard and put in the hours, then the construction industry and the skills you'll learn is something no university degree will ever give you!

Farwell to young Dan Zerial who is onto the next chapter in his life, moving to sunny Brisbane.

Dan has been with us since he left school, completing his apprenticeship and continuing to grow and improve as a tradesman and man since then.

All the best with your future mate, there will always be a job back here for you if you ever choose to return.

It's with great sadness I would like to let you know that sadly our site manager Alex Rodham passed away yesterday. Alex was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer in late December 2020 and after an extremely short battle he passed away yesterday.

To say Alex was loved and respected by all is an absolute understatement. He was a smart, kind, caring, hard working and genuinely one on the nicest men I have come across.

This is just another reminder to us all how precious all our lives are and how quickly things can change, don't sweat the small s**t!

RIP Alex, we love you mate x
