A coffee nook, done properly, needs more than a spot for the machine.

Drawer storage below keeps cups, beans, tea and spoons out of sight. A strip light overhead means it works as well at 6am as it does mid-afternoon.

Tucked into a walk-in space off the kitchen, it stays out of the way of everything else happening at the benchtop.

Neutral cabinetry along the back wall of this Duffy kitchen keeps the space bright, while a rich walnut island brings in warmth and contrast.

We designed and built this kitchen for a family that includes Olive, who spent most of the shoot supervising from the couch.

Nothing about it is loud. It just works, every day, for the family who lives in it. Olive included.

Revisiting Kibo House to bring a bit of colour inspo to your day.

This study was part of a larger whole-home renovation.

The room started out as a guest bedroom, more space than the client needed for occasional visitors. Splitting it gave the home a proper study for everyday use, with joinery for storage, shelving, and a custom desk. The guest bed moved into a smaller room next door, ready for whenever visitors stay.

It was a real treat to join the KBDi x Cosentino tour of the Australian War Memorial this morning. We were taken on a guided walkthrough showcasing some of the materials and products used in the recent refurbishment.

A huge thank you to for giving us such an insightful overview, weaving together the site's architectural origins right through to the final stages of this massive project.

Our congratulations to all of the ACT Chapter finalists for their nominations in the 2026 KBDi Awards, including our own Beth Daniel!

It was a real treat to join the KBDi x Cosentino tour of the Australian War Memorial this morning. We were taken on a guided walkthrough showcasing some of the materials and products used in the recent refurbishment. 

A huge thank you to Kristina Elward for giving us such an insightful overview, weaving together the site's architectural origins right through to the final stages of this massive project.
