🛠🔸 featured here is a hardwood Merbau deck constructed using 140mm boards fixed down with ‘hidden’ screws over a treated pine subframe. Due to not much room underneath, we went with the tuff block instant foundation system that we have used quite often to keep us out of trouble. Finished with a natural oil it came up beautiful

🛠🔸 this deck in Jerrabomberra had no stairs on one end and no handrail or balustrade which made the owners worried for their young kids! We installed a simple set of stairs to match the ones at the other end of the deck, a pine handrail and a sleek wire balustrade 🔸🛠

🛠🔸 just a simple upgrade on this old pergola that was literally about to fall down due to all the rot! Also didn’t help the old fibreglass sheets were brittle as hell and full of holes. Now finished with a corrugated polycarbonate roof 🔸🛠

🛠🔸Knocked out a few walls that made up a small old fashioned dining room to really open up the space and put a plasterboard ceiling up over the exposed rafters to bring it into this century! Was really interesting to see the gyprock used on the original walls was some of the last that were made in imperial measurements!! 🔸🛠

🛠🔸 Apart from starting to rot away this pergola just had a shade cloth for a roof, which made it no good to entertain when Mother Nature had other plans, so it was time to upgrade. This new pergola with a solid roof came up the goods complete with decking for privacy. We also got bakers landscaping to fix up the paving and really make the space complete! Some very happy clients and perfect for get togethers (I know, I’ve already been to one!) for many years to come! 🔸🛠
