🎉 7 YEARS OF RESIDENTIAL RETREATS! 🎉

HAPPY BLOODY BIRTHDAY TO US! 🥳🍻

7 years ago, Residential Retreats was thought of in a cafe while looking for a job. It started with a one-man team, a few tools, a single-axle trailer and absolutely no clue where it was going to take me.

Fast forward 7 years and WOW… what a ride it’s been! 🤯

From the early mornings and late nights to the blood, sweat, tears and probably a few choice words along the way 🤣, we’ve built so much more than just beautiful outdoor spaces.

We’ve built a business, a reputation, an incredible team and friendships that go well beyond the job site. 🧡

It hasn’t always been easy, but one thing has never changed, our commitment to quality, our passion for what we do and our refusal to take shortcuts. 💪🏼

To our incredible crew, THANK YOU! You’re the backbone of Residential Retreats and a massive part of why we are where we are today.

To our clients, suppliers, subcontractors, family and friends, thank you for backing us, trusting us and supporting this crazy journey.

7 YEARS DOWN AND WE’RE ONLY GETTING STARTED! 🚀

Here’s to continuing to raise the bar, creating bloody beautiful landscapes and seeing just how far we can take this thing!

Cheers to 7 years! 🍻🧡🖤

BIG progress happening at Ainslie! 🔥

The boys are absolutely flying through this MASSIVE area of Limestone Ramody pavers and it’s looking unreal! 👏🏼

Some would call it two grown-ass men letting their inner child out… 😂

The boys, however, would probably call it quality control. 👌🏼

A couple of beers, a thorough test run and two massive grins later, we’re happy to report it PASSED. 🍻

Weight limit: Passed. ✅
Maturity levels: Still highly questionable. 😅

Built by the boys. Tested by the boys.
Adult supervision clearly required… but nowhere to be found. 😂

It’s time for the CLOSE-UPS 👀

Our Wee Jasper Bluestone retaining wall at Wanniassa, and bloody hell she came up a treat! 🔥

Have a look at that stonework! Plenty of hard yakka went into this one and the end result speaks for itself.

Built properly. Built to last. And bloody good to look at. 👌🏼

The boys are absolutely SMASHING this preschool project! 🔨🔥

We had a two-week window to get everything completed before the school holidays wrap up… but at the rate these boys are moving, we could be DONE by the end of WEEK ONE! 🤯👏

Huge effort from the whole crew with getting stuck in 💪🏼🧡

Watch this space as this one is coming together FAST! 👀

TOOLS DOWN, GAME FACES ON 🏎️🍻

A well earned team day for the Residential Retreats crew! 🙌🏼

We swapped the tools for the go-karts and put the competitiveness to the test 🏁

Followed it up with a few beers, a couple of games of pool and a solid pub feed 🍻🎱🍔

Days like this are just as important as the ones on site. Good crews aren’t just built through hard work, they’re built through plenty of laughs, a bit of friendly competition and actually enjoying the people you work alongside.

Now back to creating epic landscapes Monday.

What a bloody good crew. 🧡

A little sneak peek update on what the boys have been doing over at Ainslie 👀

The beginning of the Lime stone paving path has been created 🧱

Cortan steel retaining walls going in for our beautiful garden beds 🪻🌷

This Spotted gum floating bench seat is going to look incredible 🤩

Our first year apprentice Ben working his magic on these Limestone paved steps, which will also have a strip light going into them. 💡

This one is going to be a jaw dropper! And we cannot wait to share the journey with you 🫶🏼
