We've been a little quiet on social media lately... mainly because we've been flat out on the tools. In fact, we're currently about three bathrooms and a kitchen behind on sharing completed projects!

This beautiful bathroom + laundry renovation was recently completed for a lovely local family + was a pleasure to bring to life.

As an artist, our client had an incredible eye for colour, texture + detail. Every selection was carefully considered, from the Italian tiles through to the warm brushed nickel tapware, wall-hung timber vanity, sparkling stone benchtop + the floor-to-wall tile continuity!

Luxurious. Warm. Functional.

Have you actually looked at the maths involved?

This is Craigโ€™s โ€œrough sketchโ€ for the flashings on a small, simple pergola roofโ€ฆ
angles, pitch, folds, measurements, allowancesโ€ฆ

Then there is tiling ๐Ÿ‘‡perfect set-out, symmetry, spacing, alignmentโ€ฆ every tile placed to line up exactly.

Falls for drainage in showers + floors (set to gradient ratios like 1:80), roof lines, roof framing (rise, pitch, run), levels + heights working off a datum, reading plans, stair tread calculations, working out volumes for concrete, quantifying materials.

One wrong number? It doesnโ€™t line up. It doesnโ€™t drain. It doesnโ€™t work.
