⚡ EV & HYBRID VEHICLE TRAINING – OCTOBER DATES NOW OPEN

Tasman Group is running our next round of nationally recognised Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Training this October, with two course dates available:

6–7 October 2026
8–9 October 2026

Pricing is $990 per person for the 2 days

These nationally recognised units provide technicians with the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely around electric and hybrid vehicle high-voltage systems:

• AURETH101 – Depower and reinitialise battery electric vehicles
• AURETH011– Depower and reinitialise hybrid electric vehicles

With EV and hybrid vehicles becoming increasingly common in workshops and fleets, technicians need the knowledge and practical skills to work around high-voltage systems safely and confidently.

Our 2-day practical course covers key EV and hybrid safety procedures, including:

• High-voltage system identification and safety
• Correct PPE and equipment
• Vehicle isolation procedures
• Depower and repower processes
• Proving de-energised
• Safe working practices around HV components
• Practical, hands-on vehicle training
• Understanding EV and hybrid systems in a real workshop environment

This training is ideal for automotive technicians, auto electricians, workshops, fleet technicians and businesses preparing for the continued growth of EV and hybrid vehicles.

👏 Another exciting milestone for the SRTA Life & Rescue team!

We were proud to complete the installation of a 3M™ UniRail Horizontal Lifeline System aboard Incat Hull 096 – China Zorrilla, the world's largest battery-electric ferry.

Being involved in a project of this scale is something we're incredibly proud of. Hull 096 represents the future of sustainable maritime transport and showcases the innovation, engineering excellence and world-class shipbuilding expertise being delivered right here in Tasmania.

With the vessel now preparing for its journey aboard the Black Marlin heavy-lift ship, it's fantastic to see this landmark project reaching another major milestone.

We're also excited to be commencing work on another Incat vessel over the coming weeks, continuing to provide compliant, high-quality height safety solutions.

A big congratulations to the entire Incat team and everyone involved in delivering this incredible project. We're grateful to have played a part in such a significant achievement.
