What actually happens between "we want a pool" and the first swim? 🏊

1. Enquiry and site visit: we reply within 24 hours
2. Design and quote: a detailed concept and transparent pricing
3. Approvals and prep: we handle council approvals and prepare the site
4. Construction: earthworks through to finishing
5. Handover: we walk you through it, then you dive in

From design approval to first swim takes 10 to 12 weeks, and pools start from $49,990.

Course by course: a retaining wall going up in Kanimbla.

Dig. Posts. Sleepers. Turf.

- Trenched along the boundary through the red soil and cut the slope back
- Set steel posts on concrete footings
- Placed plain grey concrete sleepers between the posts, as a double level that steps up the slope
- Laid crusher dust behind the wall and new turf across the lawn

What's actually inside a retaining wall? Here's this one in Kanimbla, numbered.

The ground beside this house was a cut-back embankment that needed holding up. We trenched along the boundary through the red soil and cut the slope back to a workable line. Then:

1. Steel posts set on concrete footings
2. Plain grey concrete sleepers between the posts, built as a double level so the wall steps up the slope instead of standing as one tall face
3. Crusher dust laid on the levelled ground behind the wall for a firm, tidy surface
4. New turf supplied and laid across the lawn

The slope is held back and the yard is usable again.

Cairns Precision Earthworks will be closed on Monday 5 October for the King’s Official Birthday public holiday.
