Industrial Sandblaster & Spray Painter
Location: Caboolture QLD
(Workshop-based with occasional site work)
About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Industrial Blaster and Painter to join our busy workshop team. You will be responsible for surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and applying industrial-grade protective coatings to structural steel, machinery, and fabricated components.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform surface preparation and safe operation of abrasive/sandblasting equipment.Mix and apply industrial coatings (epoxies, 2-pack polyurethanes) using airless/conventional spray equipment. Operate a forklift safely to move materials, steel, and equipment around the workshop.Inspect finished surfaces to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturer specifications.Maintain blasting and painting equipment, keeping a clean and safe working environment.
Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in industrial sandblasting and spray painting.A current, valid High Risk Work Forklift Licence (LF).Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Commitment to workplace health, safety, and proper PPE compliance.Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rates.
