Fire pit/ BBQ area

9 pallets of basalt natural stone went into creating this space. This landscape area really anchors the recently renovated house (great work from sivbuild) and swimming pool into its surroundings

So stoked with the outcome.......

This is a Lennox head project we did recently...

The retaining wall was failing, so we replaced it with a wall that would last the test of time

We needed to be creative with access to the backyard

-galvanised posts
-timber grain look concrete sleepers
-treated pine fence

Today I visited this possum creek project we did in 2022... it was a memorable one, not only was it the 2nd property that we helped landscape with awesome clients, we also had the 2022 floods to keep us on our toes.... the grass (zoysia empire, my fav) suffered a bit (probably due to being to wet straight after it was layed) but everything is looking amazing now...

This New Brighton project was completed in 2020 (during covid ("cough") lockdown).

4 years on, it's been a pleasure to design, construct & maintain the landscaping on this property and keep it looking fresh.

This pool renovation is definitely one of my favourite projects ever. Co-creating with the owners and bringing their dreams down to reality was such an incredible experience.
Weaving together the vision from the client, our creative talents and our many years of experience we have designed a perfect little paradise in the heart of there home.
Working alongside Ben to get this diamond out of the rough has been exciting and a absolute pleasure.

Our origins of landscaping in the Byron Shire started with landscaping at the roadhouse byron bay. It was that project that we coined the name "off the rails" we later added "creative landscaping" as off the rails is a fun name but probably doesn't instill to much confidence in quality work. The word "creative" invokes a plethora of inspiration and landscaping is so much about tapping into your own creative energies and the creative energies of the living environment that we live in. So that word "creative" was added to balance out the fun.

After 13 years of landscaping in the Northern rivers we have let our work speak for itself.

We were lucky to get a hold of a mother haul of amazing quality railway sleepers from the burringbar train tunnel when they were doing works for the rail trail... we have kept the best of them and if the project calls for it we create a bespoke landscaping feature with these railway sleepers that come from the northern rivers and I can happily say the only railway sleepers available with glow worm s**t on them!!!
Happy holidays and thanks for all your support.
