Australia's exisiting home are... characterful, draughty, single glazed. Build@in an era when "insulation" meant a thick jumper.

It starts here... long before the finishes go in.

Behind every calm, refined bathroom is a series of early decisions… quietly shaping how the space will feel every day.

Materials selected ahead of time — so the build flows without pause. ✨

Layouts planned — for movement that feels natural, private, effortless. The shower, toilet and taps — balancing what’s seen and what’s tucked away.

When done well, it’s more than visual.

It’s a space that feels calm, easy… and right, every single day. 🌿

This time four years ago, helping out in the aftermath of the crazy Lismore floods.💧

Water had come right past the roofline on this old Queenslander, so we had to gut the place and, sadly, say goodbye to some bits you just can’t replace.

Stepping inside felt like going back a hundred years. Timber so hard our nail guns kept jamming, and nothing was straight—every piece had been hand-cut and had warped over time.

There was zero insulation in the walls, which meant the water could drain and the house could dry out quickly. But no one could have predicted the floodwaters rising above the roof.

The ceiling insulation had turned into heavy, thick mud, and mould had already started growing within days. The ceiling had to come down before the mould had a chance to set in.

But here’s the thing—once all the flood-damaged interiors were stripped out, the bones of the house looked almost exactly how they would have when it was first built.

Solid materials. Proper hand craftsmanship.

Proof that quality stands the test of time.

Revisiting this absolute gem of a bathroom from last year. Clean lines fresh tiles and lots of great details really make this lux bathroom sing. We’ve even added a built in Bluetooth speaker. A space this good needs a soundtrack to match.
